Personal Care

We provide respectful support with personal care in a way that protects dignity, privacy and comfort. Every visit is shaped around the person’s own routines, wishes and preferences.

Personal Support

Our personal support service helps make everyday life feel safer, steadier and more manageable at home. We take time to understand what matters to each person so support feels reassuring and personal.

Daily Living Support

We can help with the day-to-day tasks that support comfort, safety and wellbeing at home. This may include simple meal preparation, household tasks and practical support with everyday routines.

Independence and Wellbeing

Our approach is to support people to do as much as they can for themselves, with the right help in place when needed. We want people to feel confident, valued and comfortable in their own home and community.

Appointments and Community Access

We support people to attend appointments, stay connected to their community and continue with activities that matter to them. This may include help to access local groups, services, hobbies and social opportunities.

Companionship and Social Support

Good care is about more than practical tasks. We also offer companionship, emotional support and a caring presence that helps reduce isolation and supports overall wellbeing.

Short-Term and Respite Care

We can provide short-term or respite support when extra help is needed for a limited period. This can bring reassurance to both the person receiving care and the family members supporting them.

Urgent Support

Where staffing capacity allows, we can respond to urgent situations such as a sudden change in needs or support following discharge. We manage this carefully so that care remains safe, coordinated and within our registered scope.

Registered and trusted in Jersey

Compassionate Healthcare Jersey is registered with the Jersey Care Commission as a Home Care service. For the people we support and their families, that brings reassurance that our service is regulated and accountable. It reflects our commitment to delivering care with kindness, dignity and professionalism.

We know that choosing care is a deeply personal decision. That is why we work hard to offer support that feels safe, respectful and genuinely person-centred. From personal care to day-to-day support, we want every person to feel valued, listened to and cared for in a way that honours their independence and wellbeing.

Being registered is one part of that promise. The other is how we treat people every day with warmth, compassion and consistency. We are proud to serve our local community in Jersey and to provide care that families can trust.

The Roles we have at Compassionate Healthcare

Support Workers: Everyday help with a personal touch.

Our Support Workers are the heart of our service. They provide direct care and support in people’s own homes, helping with personal care, daily routines, practical tasks, and the day-to-day support that allows people to feel safe, comfortable, and more independent.

Just as importantly, they bring kindness, reassurance, and respect into every home they visit. Support Workers are trained for the tasks they carry out, work within their competence, and are supported through supervision and ongoing development so that the care they provide remains safe, thoughtful, and person-centred.

Senior Support Workers: Hands-on leadership in the field, every day.

Our Senior Support Workers provide guidance and day-to-day leadership within the care team. They help make sure high standards are maintained and that care is delivered in line with each person’s agreed plan, individual preferences, and the values of the service.

They also support and encourage other team members through supervision, mentoring, and good communication. This helps create a service that is well organised, accountable, and focused on dignity, safety, and quality in every visit.

Care Coordinators: Planning with excellence in mind.

Our Care Coordinators help bring everything together behind the scenes so that care runs smoothly from day to day. They help organise rotas, plan visits, match staff to each person’s needs and preferences, and make sure support is arranged in a way that is safe, reliable, and responsive.

They also help make sure care stays consistent as needs change. By working closely with the management team, they support continuity of care, review staffing arrangements, and help ensure that each person receives the right support from staff who are suitable, available, and properly prepared for the role.

Our Corporate Social Investment

Care with dignity, fairness and community at its heart

At Compassionate Healthcare Jersey, our care is guided by values that place people, dignity, and respect at the centre of everything we do. We believe every person has the right to feel safe, listened to, and valued in their own home and community. Our approach is person-centred and built on partnership. We work closely with the people we support, and with families or representatives where appropriate, so that care reflects individual wishes, routines, goals, and choices. We are committed to delivering support that is safe, well managed, transparent, and responsive to changing needs.

These values shape not only how we care for people, but also how we support our staff and work as an organisation. We aim to create a respectful and open culture where staff receive training, supervision, and fair treatment, and where concerns can be raised without fear. We also believe good care should help people stay connected to life in Jersey, including access to local groups, services, and community opportunities that reduce isolation and promote wellbeing.

Our wider Social Responsibility

Alongside our regulated care service, we also recognise our wider responsibility as a local employer and community-based organisation in Jersey. We are committed to building a business that acts with integrity, treats people fairly, and contributes positively to the community around us. This includes taking a clear stand against modern slavery, human trafficking, exploitation, and unfair labour practices in any form. We believe everyone has the right to work in safety, dignity, and respect, and we expect the same values to be reflected across our working relationships and supply arrangements.

We also want to grow in a thoughtful and responsible way that takes account of our environmental impact. That means encouraging practical steps such as reducing unnecessary waste, using resources carefully, favouring digital systems where appropriate, and promoting sensible, efficient working practices as the service develops. Our aim is to build a care service that is not only compassionate in the support it provides, but also responsible in the way it operates, grows, and contributes to island life. The planned and sustainable growth language aligns with the SOP, while the modern slavery and environmental wording is best treated as an additional company commitment rather than an SOP extract.
