Who we are

Compassionate Healthcare Jersey is a home care service based in St Helier, serving adults across Jersey who need personal care or personal support to remain safe and independent at home. Our service is built on a person-centred approach and a simple belief that every person has the right to live with dignity, choice, and respect in the place they know best.

Compassionate Healthcare Jersey was established to provide safe, reliable, and person-centred home care that helps adults remain in the place they know best, their own home and community. Our service is built on three simple principles: compassion, connection, and competence. We see care as a partnership between the individual, their family, and our team, with support shaped around personal routines, preferences, and goals. We are committed to delivering practical support that is respectful, well-managed, and responsive to changing needs.

How we work

Care begins with a person-centred assessment so that we can understand the person’s needs, routines, preferences, goals, and any risks that need to be managed. From there, we agree a personalised care and support plan with the individual and, where appropriate, their family or representative.

Care plans are reviewed regularly so that support remains safe, suitable, and responsive if needs change. Our aim is to provide care that is not only well planned, but also flexible and respectful of the person’s wishes.

Our team

Behind every package of care is a team working together to make sure support is well organised and safely delivered. Our service is led by experienced management and supported by care coordination and frontline support staff who work closely together to provide reliable care in the community.

We believe great care starts with great people. That is why we are committed to recruiting compassionate staff, supporting them with training and supervision, and making sure they work within their skills and responsibilities.
